NA Féile Skills Competition 2015

The North Antrim Féile Skills was ran last night in Loughgiel Shamrocks.  This was defiantly one of the biggest turnouts in a few years with over 17 players from clubs throughout North Antrim taking part and competing for their chance to represent North Antrim at the upcoming County Féile Skills Competition.

The North Antrim U10 & U11 Div 2 squads where out in force again attending another training session in Tir na nOg yesterday in preparation for the tip to Kilkenny at the end of the month. The kids and mentors played a mixture of games, team bonding and learning names over a few hours with at least one more session before the end of the month.

North Antrim U12 / U13 Hurlers put through paces

Saturday past in Ballycastle seen 90 U12 & U13 Hurlers from throughout North Antrim taking part in the 'North Antrim School of Excellence'.  For over 2½ hours these lads were put through their paces and all demonstrated a considerable amount of courage, determination and skill.

It all came together at Armoy on Friday past to mark the formation of new North Antrim juvenile hurling club Naomh Padraig. This event was  to say thanks to the six local businesses that had sponsored the  new purple and gold team kits.
