Ulster Provincial Indoor Hurling Blitzs

Ulster GAA will be running 5 Provincial Indoor Hurling Blitzes over the next few months. 1 for each age group.
 
In the Meadowbank Sports Arena, Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, Co. Derry BT45 6EH

*EACH BLITZ IS LIMITED TO 18 TEAMS PARTICIPATING*

Only Teams who have Prepaid and Receipt received will be able to participate, we will be operating on a first come first served bases, and no payment can be paid on the day.

To Book, you will need to provide, Payment (£10 per team), Age Group/ Blitz entering, Coaches Name and Contact Number.

Rules

  •  - All games are 9v9, but if a team is only able to play 7v7 then match them. Or if agreeable play 8v8, but no more than 9v9 as it’s too clustered

  •  - The ball will be live at all times unless there is a score, no line balls and no wide ball

  •  - Only Goals count

  •  - Cannot score direct from Puc Outs

  •  - All games are 7 minutes straight (depending on Numbers and Time)

  •  - All games use the Quick/ Smart Touch Sliotar

  •  - Full Hurling Rules, except all frees conceded in your defensive end of the pitch result in a 20m penalty (1v1)against the fouling team (To stop lazy, cynical fouling), Note the defending Goalie must stay on line for the penalties

  •  - No Managers or subs allowed in the playing area during or before games, only players starting

  •  - No warm ups on the pitch, games must start on time, so please sort your team out before the previous game is finished.

  • - If players behavior is not good, they must be replaced by another player or team will have to play with a player less

  •  - If Teams behavior is not good, they will forfeit all there remaining games
